Kappa Pi Kappa Annual Meeting RecapAnd Welcoming New Brothers

Dear Brothers,

We wanted to share a brief update following our Kappa Pi Kappa Annual Board Meeting held on May 17th. It was a productive session focused on supporting both the house and our broader alumni community.

Meeting Highlights:

·  House Improvements: The undergraduates are addressing several maintenance needs, including mattress replacements, upgraded furniture, and regular cleaning to keep the house in good shape for the summer and visiting alumni.

·  Financial Update: The board approved a $37,000 prepayment toward the house loan, our first prepayment since 2022, and discussed a six-year plan to fully pay it down. The loan is due in full on July 31, 2031. A renewed capital campaign and potential alumni-led refinancing efforts were also discussed.

·  Alumni Engagement: We are working to build a more structured alumni-undergraduate network, including class captains and tools to better connect brothers across industries and generations. If you are interested in volunteering as a class captain, please send an email to one.webster.kpk@gmail.com.

·  Board Elections: A new slate of board members was unanimously approved:

o    Greg Smith ’85
o    Matthew Graves ’14
o    Tyler Hawkins ’07
o    Brett Szalapski ’15
o    George Philipose ’15
o    Siegfried Richter ’86
o    John Goldman ’86
o    Andrew Gutow ’86
o    Jack Hargrove ’22
o    Jim Sullivan ’89

Officers of the board will be elected during the June meeting.

We also welcomed a new class of brothers into the fraternity this spring. Their initiation was a meaningful reminder of what it means to be part of something enduring. We are excited for their journey ahead and grateful to see the values of our brotherhood carried forward.

We also want to emphasize that all brothers, both undergraduate and alumni, are welcome to join board calls even if not currently serving on the board. Your perspectives and participation are always appreciated.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. Whether through reunions, contributions, or mentorship, your involvement strengthens the house and the bonds we all share.

YiK,

Kappa Pi Kappa Board
